At Cloud 9 Wine Bar and Restaurant, located in downtown Erie, PA, we have a passion for great drinks and delicious food at affordable prices. Our menus are intentionally chosen to bring together a variety of carefully selected artisanal wines from around the world, including locally produced wines. We also offer amazing craft beers. Our from-scratch menu includes a mixture of both classic favorites and unique selections to please every palate and pocketbook. Many of our unique selections have that French influence that Bertrand is known for.

We invite you to experience our casual-chic space for drinks with friends after work, pre-game or pre-show dinner or a late-night snack. Our Story

The vision for Cloud 9 came to light when our owners, Bertrand and Lu Ann Artigues, realized that there was a need for something more upbeat and unique in Erie where people could experience classic menu entrées AND noteworthy chef-inspired selections without feeling like they would have to dress up. 

The bar-centric approach to great food and drinks nicely lends itself to having the much needed relaxation we all crave and deserve these days! The option to grab a bite to eat and enjoy a nice glass of wine or a cold, satisfying craft beer at the same location makes Cloud 9 the perfect place to meet regardless of your preferred menu style or drink of choice.

About Our Wine Bar

We take our wine seriously! The quality of your taste experience is directly related to how we handle our wine. Many places offer wine by the glass. However, we take it to the next level! All selections offered at Cloud 9 Wine Bar and Restaurant are stored and served through state of the art wine preservation equipment. Each wine is stored and served at the optimal temperature by variety to preserve integrity of taste and provide an excellent wine experience.

Not sure about your taste in wine?

Nothing is more disappointing than ordering a full glass of wine only to find out that it’s really not to your taste. For that reason, we offer 2 ounce tasting pours along with 6 ounce glasses, wine flights and a selection of wines by the bottle.
